Fireflies
Fireflies
July is showing its colors in magic movements. Walking through the wild meadows, one can not but stop and think how enchanting nature is when see butterflies rising, often mistaken by flowers. Bees are calming our thoughts, that unique music knows to all of our senses. Can nature clean and heal us? Why we spend so little time there, alone, surrounded by native nature..why everything else is more important although we can’t be highly productive all the time.
Many recognized the benefits of spending (alone) time in nature. Bonding and healing with present trees and grasses but above all, the land beneath our feet. Every step is recognized and answered to by countless living creatures around us even if we don’t see it. Those living in the soil recognize pressure and pass its impulse further to others, to be noticed. Those living around us will keep their distance, always. Rarely, we will see some and that will be a miracle and reminder for us to know, that we are not alone and that this is primarily their world. To behave well among nature’s creatures means to stay quiet and calm, to move slowly, and leave as little mark behind.
Experience shows that majority of people are born with this kind of respect for nature and know exactly how to behave. Those who are in doubt or want to use it, should be controlled and taught.. it is not an easy task, but being a part of a community brings responsibility for others. Some think of it as a burden.
Every step through beautiful summer nights, enlighten by fireflies makes us feel emotional, inspired, and ready for new beginnings. One of them should include efforts to protect our beautiful planet and our only home. Every action we take counts.
