Coronavirus

Coronavirus

In the time of virus infection outbreak every several years we stop and think about all the actions causing it. Severe damage to our environment and animal world is coming back to us like a boomerang in the form of epidemic virus infections, drought, fires, floods, and other extreme conditions. Some might think that these days we are more aware of such circumstances because of the availability of information and connections: the internet, news, etc. But the fact is, these circumstances are very new and data from the previous measurements show it. Changes happen very fast.

So what is a coronavirus and why is it so dangerous? Imitating mRNA who is engaged in a normal biological process of transcription of DNA information, allows it to reach to our cellular DNA and change information. The virus has a huge potential of entering the human cell through membranes and grouping in nests from which he can have better access to immune response. That’s a final point where nuclear DNA is reached and changed and our immune system is disabled. Coronavirus is considered to contain large RNA genome which is unusual for this family of viruses. Such data point out to extra potential and abilities but exact functions of genes are not yet explained.

In comparison to a similar group of viruses, we can see symptoms of a severe infection: cough, difficulty breathing, high temperature and diarrhea. Dehydration is leading to death but the next complications are liver and kidney failure, morbidity and encephalitis, loss of neural functions.

Transmitted from wild and infected domestic animals, mostly pigs and chickens, coronavirus is now leading deadly virus. Markets are closed, and all major points for disease spreading are closed or under quarantine but for how long?

When we will close the tap when flood appears? Instead of trying to dry out the rood while the tap is still open and water runs even faster.

Understanding a problem is just the beginning. The decision to stop consuming meat or at least meat of uncontrolled and wild animals is absolutely necessary. More about this virus, types of proteins it contains, how it breaks membranes in cells and reach for our genetic material, how is transmitted and stopped, you can find at the official page: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4369385/
