Coadaptation

Coadaptation is a very common case in nature; life evolves and adapts to the new environment by following others.

“Adaptation is related to biological fitness, which governs the rate of evolution, as measured by the change in gene frequencies. Often, two or more species co-adapt and co-evolve as they develop adaptations that interlock with those of the other species, such as with flowering plants and pollinating insects. In mimicry, species evolve to resemble other species; in Müllerian mimicry, this is a mutually beneficial co-evolution as each of a group of strongly defended species (such as wasps able to sting) come to advertise their defenses in the same way. Features evolved for one purpose may be co-opted for a different one, as when the insulating feathers of dinosaurs were co-opted for bird flight.”

A good example is the evolution of flowering plants and their pollinators. In nature, we have strictly specific pollinators for almost different lines of flowering plants. It mostly depends on the appearance and shape of petals, stamens, and style. The environment in which plants live will preorder pollinators. Mostly they are insects. Flowers produce food for them but on the other side, they’ll be pollinated. With some help from insects and maybe other animals- coadaptation will be successful; relying on each other to survive is the best and the kindest way. When pollinators are endangered, so are plants and in the final line-so are we. Simplest and the best example is the bee and bee's preferred flower -shape, its color, growth pattern, and overall environment, everything is important in the process. Wild meadow plants content is a very common case of investigation in Europe, proofing which living being coexist and cooperate in the natural environment. These data will later be used for the preservation and protection of our environment.

Some living beings are changing and making choices faster, others need to follow to survive. The most adaptable being is considered to be a human. We observed and followed in the past but then we started mass production and consumption of all resources. Adaptation includes watching for the global content of resources and planned consumption. Adaption for humans these days means allowing other living beings time to follow up and evolve. It includes time and space without intrusion. To survive, we humans must allow other living beings to survive because, at the end of the day, we all follow up with each other and need each other.
